1. My classroom provides immediate feedback through the use of whiteboards, Promethean Board clickers, scanning completed homework assignments, and timely test grading. Goals for the students seems to be dictated by time constraints and state standards. I provide a variety of teaching methods such as group work, manipulatives, differentiated assignments, and test review using the clickers but they are all structured and directed by the teacher. The student's choice is only if they choose to participate or not.
2. The only technology I use in the classroom is the document camera and the Promethean Board. I need to provide classroom games on the Promethean Board and create teaching aids using the board's many capabilities. I also need to explore the large variety of software for teaching mathematics that is available on the Internet.
3. Students receive feeback through classroom disscussions, comments on graded assignments, group work (student-student conversations) and student-teacher conversations.
